Yani Neko Episode 9 watch official stream
“Tabakoshka” is a warm urban fantasy with a homely atmosphere, where the plot centers on an unusual creature, a cat, associated with the smell of tobacco and human memories. She appears next to people who are experiencing stress, loneliness or loss, and seems to be able to draw out difficult feelings from them, turning them into calm, sleep and the desire to move on. The series is built from small stories, each episode is like a meeting in an alley, in a small shop or on a landing, where one person gets a chance to talk about something important, even if not in words. “Tobacco” does not romanticize bad habits, but uses the image of smoke as a metaphor for memory that rises, dissipates and remains a smell in the room, even after the event has passed. Visually, it is soft light, cozy interiors and quiet music, but in meaning it is a story about acceptance, forgiveness and how a small miracle can restore a person’s support. Gradually, the secret of the cat herself is revealed, why she comes, how she knows other people’s stories and what will happen if one day she cannot leave. This anime is for those who love calm, slightly mystical series, after which it becomes quieter inside.
