“Tabakoshka” is a chamber anime with soft humor and cozy intonation, where the strange name quickly becomes a symbol of the character of the main character. She loves order, small rituals and quiet evenings, but one day an unusual cat appears in her life, who behaves as if he understands human conversations and keeps other people's secrets. The cat attracts people to him like an invisible thread, and next to him even the most gloomy ones begin to speak more openly than they planned. The series is based on short stories about neighbors, acquaintances, random visitors and old memories that pop up at the most unexpected times. There is no race for plot sensations, but there is an atmosphere of the city, where quiet dramas, reconciliations and new beginnings are boiling behind the walls of apartments. It gradually becomes clear that the cat is not just a pet, but a reason to stop and hear yourself, and also a reason to accept that habits and weaknesses do not make a person worse. “Tabakoshka” is suitable for those who love good stories about small changes that actually change life.
